ISBN & ISSN Numbers for Books and Magazines
If you are looking for a barcode for your magazine or book, we recommend first getting an ISBN number (for books) from the ISBN Agency, or an ISSN number (for magazines) from the National Library of Ireland.
ISBN (or International
Standard Book Numbers) and ISSN (or International Standard Serial
Number) are unique numbers that are assigned to published books,
magazines, serials and other similar products.
The ISBN Agency assigns ISBN numbers for a small charge (the Agency for the Republic of Ireland & the UK is run by Nielsen BookData).
ISSN numbers in Ireland are available from the Irish ISSN Centre at the National Library of Ireland. Alternatively, you can get your ISSN from this website (it has links to all the national ISSN providers around the world).
After you have your ISBN or ISSN number, purchase barcode images for your number below:
| Item | Product | Price (each) |
|
| 7 | ISBN-13 or ISSN-13 images (from your number**) - for books and magazines (.bmp, .eps, .tiff, .pdf + .jpg) | €15 | |
